Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) is looking for suitable candidates for the post of General Manager and Chief Engineer (Rolling Stock and Electrical). There is only 01 vacant seat available (Either on Deputation/contract or on Re-employment) for KMRL Recruitment 2024.

Age Limit for KMRL Recruitment 2024:

The age criteria for KMRL Recruitment 2024 are indicated below-

• The maximum age limit is 55 years for applying on a Deputation and Contract basis.
• The minimum age limit is 56 years and the maximum age limit is 62 years for applying on a Re-employment basis.

Salary for KMRL Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of KMRL Recruitment 2024, the chosen candidates will be paid a monthly salary as listed below-

• The chosen candidates on a contract basis will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.120000-280000(IDA)- Pay Scale.
• The chosen candidates on a deputation basis will be paid a monthly salary as per deputation terms and conditions.
• The chosen candidates on a Re-employment basis will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.170000.

Qualification and Experience for KMRL Recruitment 2024:

Candidates must have the required qualifications and experience for applying to KMRL Recruitment 2024 as given below-

• The candidate should have a B.E./B. Tech or B. Sc (Engg) in Electrical Engineering from a Recognized AICTE/ UGC approved University/ Institute or serving IRSEE (for deputation ) or Retd. IRSEE Officers of Indian Railways (on a re-employment basis).

Experience-

• The candidate should have a minimum of 20 years post-qualification experience out of which a minimum of 12 years in executive/ managerial cadre in-

1. Railway or its subsidiary/Sister concerns/Rail PSU’s.
2. Metro Rail Corporations.

• The officer should have varied experience of working in Railway /Rail PSUs /Metro Rail Companies in the Electrical department/Rolling Stock maintenance.

For on Deputation/Re-employment-

• Candidates can be serving/Retired Officers of Railway /Rail PSUs /Metro Rail Companies at least in the pay scale of Rs.37400-67000 (GP10000)- CDA Pattern or in the pay scale of Rs.120000-280000/- (IDA Pattern) or its equivalent scales under similar roles as mentioned above.

For on Contract-

• Candidates working in PSU/ Govt. The organization should be working in the equivalent scale or should have a minimum of two years of experience in the immediate lower grade/its equivalent scale.
• Subject to fulfilling the other requirements, Candidates from Private Sector Companies will be considered subject to their present CTC being at least Rs.2.20 lakh per month.

Tenure for KMRL Recruitment 2024:

The appointment is made on a Deputation/Contract and Re-employment and the chosen candidates for KMRL Recruitment 2024 will be engaged for the period as mentioned below–

• The selected candidates on a contract basis will be appointed for a period of 03 years extendable for a further period of two years based on satisfactory performance and requirements.
• The selected candidates on a deputation basis will be appointed for an initial period of 02 Years, to be further extendable for additional terms/ periods or up to attaining the age of 65 years or a maximum of 5 years from initial appointment, whichever is earlier, subject to consistent good performance, conduct and requirement of Project/ discretion of Management.
• The selected candidates on a Re-employment basis will be appointed for a period of three years extendable further as per deputation terms.

Selection Process for KMRL Recruitment 2024:

The candidates will be selected for KMRL Recruitment 2024 on the basis of an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. No TA/DA will be paid by KMRL to candidates for attending the selection process.
