Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 2023: Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) is inviting applications for the Filling up of the post of Director (Systems) in Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) on a Contract/Deputation basis. Selected candidates will be appointed for a period of 5 years. As per the Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 2023 notification, there is only 01 vacancy. Applicant must not have crossed the age of 57 years.
Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) is a 50:50 Joint Venture between the Government of India and the Government of Kerala, having the commercial operations of running the metro system in Kochi, Kerala. Construction for the extension of the metro to other parts of the city of Kochi is also underway. As per the official notification of Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 2023, the applicant should have a BE/ B Tech/ BSc.(Engg.) in Electrical/Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering discipline, from a recognized Institution or University.

As per the Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 2023 notification, the minimum age limit required for the post is 45 years and the maximum should be 57 years.
As per the Official notification of Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 2023 the monthly salary for a minimum of Rs.180000, and the maximum should be 340000 (IDA), and other allowances/perks/privileges.
As per the official notification of Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 2023, the applicant should have a BE/ B Tech/ BSc.(Engg.) in Electrical/Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering discipline, from a recognized Institution or University.
As per the official notification of Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 2023, the duration of the appointment will be on a contract/deputation basis for a period of 5 years, or up to the date of superannuation, whichever is earlier
As per the official notification of Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 2023, the experience required for the post is given below
i) Proven track record of twenty-five (25) years after graduation in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics and Communication Engineering service in Group A’ Service in Indian Railways or Executive service in Railway
PSUs/Subsidiary/Sister Concerns. Out of 25 years mentioned, five (5) years of experience should be at senior levels in Railway/Metro electrification works/Rolling Stock/Signalling & Telecommunication projects of large nature.
ii) Should have experience and knowledge of interfacing with railway or metro-related disciplines such as track laying works, signalling, electrification and rolling stock, etc.
iii) The applicants should have experience in preparing tendering/contract management and project management of important electrical structures and/or signalling and telecom systems from domestic and international vendors as a team leader.
iv) Should have proven experience and knowledge in handling Metro Rail Operations or EMU or Rail operations.
Desirable :
Experience in all phases of major rail-based urban transportation projects on contracts i.e. Planning, Bid Documents, Bidding, Execution, Commissioning, post Commissioning, etc. Experience of implementing major projects and complying with project-related requirements of international funding institutions.
