Maharashtra HSC Results 2023: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the Maharashtra HSC (Class 12) results for 2023 tentatively in May 2023. The MSBSHSE conducted the Maharashtra HSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate) examination from 21st February 2023 to 20th March 2023. Around 14.5 lakh candidates appeared for the Maharashtra HSC, also known as Maharashtra Board class 12, examinations in 2023. The practical examinations for the concerned subjects were conducted in January 2023. The MSBSHSE will announce the time and date of the class 12 results either through a press release or through its official Facebook and Twitter handles.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will release the Maharashtra HSC Results 2023 on its official website. The Maharashtra HSC examination was conducted in two shifts: morning(from 11 am to 2 pm) and evening (from 3 pm to 6 pm). Students can view their results by entering the required information like Roll Number and Mother’s first name. Along with the result, the board is expected to release the list of toppers of all three streams ( Humanities, Commerce, and Science) separately. The MSBSHSE may also release the district-wise or division-wise topper list. Students will be able to download their provisional mark sheet from the official website. After the result declaration, students will have to collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools.

Last Year Maharashtra HSC Results’ Trends

Last year, the MSBSHSE declared the Maharashtra HSC examination result on June 8 at 1 pm. The Maharashtra HSC examination 2022 was conducted from March 4, 2022, to April 7, 2022. The exams were conducted in two shifts: morning (from 10:30 am to 2 pm) and afternoon (from 3 pm to 6:30 pm). The overall pass percentage was 94.22% for all streams. Girls performed better than boys with a pass percentage of 95.35% against the boys’ pass percentage of 93.29%. Some important stats for the Maharashtra HSC examination 2022 are listed below:

Number of Students: 14,85,191

Number of Students Passed: 13,56,604

Male Students: 8,17,188

Female Students: 6,68,003

Girls Pass Percentage: 95.35%

Boys Pass Percentage: 93.29%

Students Scoring 90% or more marks: 10,047

Zone with Highest Pass Percentage: Konkan (97.21%)

Zone with Lowest Pass Percentage: Mumbai (90.91%)

Last year, the toppers list for class 12 was not released by the Maharashtra board. It is expected to release this year. As the Maharashtra HSC exam for 2023 concluded early (on March 20), it is likely that the result of the Maharashtra HSC examination 2023 will be announced earlier, tentatively in May 2023.

Once Released, How to View and Download Maharashtra HSC Results 2023

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the  Maharashtra HSC examination results for 2023 on its official website. Students should follow the below-mentioned steps to view their results after declaration:

  1. Visit the official website of the Maharashtra Board
  2. Open the Maharashtra HSC result 2023 link
  3. Enter the roll number or board exam seat number and mother’s first name in the Maharashtra Board class 12 result window
  4. Click on “View Result”
  5. The result of the respective student will appear on the screen
  6. Download the same and take a printout for future reference

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will also release the dates for re-evaluation and supplementary exam processes once the results are declared. Students not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation. The supplementary examination is expected to take place in July 2023.
