Overview:

Axis Bank is hiring an experienced Marketing Manager – Cards & Payments at their Mumbai location. The role is to design and execute marketing campaigns that can drive awareness, create customer engagement, and contribute to value and volume growth for the Cards & payments business. The role contributes to enhancing the overall Axis Bank brand image, increase product category awareness and devise marketing strategies for the growth for the business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understand business objectives, competition, target audiences etc to build rich campaign insights that can create effective marketing campaigns and contribute to business growth.
• Partner with various agencies & internal designers — creative, digital and campaign management for developing creative & effective communication and execute campaigns seamlessly
• Strategize campaigns to drive awareness, spends, engagement, and upsell/ cross sell for Cards & Value-added products
• Manage marketing promotions across various channels i.e. Outdoor, Print, Digital & Social media and D2C. And, leverage internal assets Mobile App, Internet Banking, Branches, ATM, Sales Enablers etc.
• Strengthen awareness and preference for products, amongst existing and new customers while always adhering to brand guidelines and brand key
• Manage card launches wrt to nomenclature, card packaging, on-ground events etc.
• Stay updated on industry/ market trends, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.

Qualifications:

• Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
• MBA from Tier 1 B-schools / institute
• 5 – 10 years of Experience in Marketing
• Prior experience in consumer / retail products in Financial Industry

Role Proficiencies:

• For successful execution of the job, a candidate should possess the following:

Knowledge:

• Reasonable understanding of data and analytics, social media and mainstream media platforms
• Good understanding of banking products and services and competition landscape specifically cards & payments

Skills:

• Good communication and presentation skills – both verbal & written
• Excellent stakeholder management and inter-personal skills
• Project management skills to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

Abilities:

• Ability to work effectively across functions and demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals
