MCA has no plan to remove Small Company Audit: Clarifies ICAI
President ICAI has clarified that MCA has no plan to remove Small Company Audit. President ICAI CA Nihar N. Jambusaria addressing Members regarding Latest Developments at ICAI has clarified that MCA has no plan to remove Small Company Audit.
ICAI President has confirmed that they have communicated with the appropriate authority they have not decided any thing of this sort nor there is any thought process of eliminating of Audits of Small Companies. Please don't carry any tension regarding this.

As per a news report by CNBC Awaaz, their was rumour, that MCA is planning to do away with Statutory Audits of the companies. Finally, this rumor has now been clarified by ICAI President.
