NOTICE INVITING COMMENTS ON THE REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE TO REVIEW OFFENCES UNDER COMPANIES ACT, 2013

The Government of India had on 13th July, 2018 constituted a Committee to review offences under the Companies Act, 2013 (Committee) to make recommendations to the Government inter alia on re-categorisation of certain acts punishable as compoundable offences to acts carrying civil liabilities, improvements to be made in the in-house adjudication mechanism, etc. The Committee has submitted its report to the Honble Corporate Affairs Minister on 27th August, 2018, upon which, the report has been placed on the website of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, accessible through the following web-link:https://studycafe.in/2018/08/mca-releases-the-report-of-the-committee-to-review-offences-under-ca-2013.html Comments on the report of the Committee along with justifications in brief may be sent latest by 24.09.2018 through email at [email protected] It is requested that the name, contact number, email address and postal address of the sender be indicated clearly at the time of sending comments in the following format:- Format for sending comments- Name, contact number, email address and postal address of the sender
