MCA Invites public comments to amendCompetition Act

Invitation for public comments on the Competition Act, 2002.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) constituted a Competition Law Review Committee to review the competition Act/Rules/Regulations in view of changing business environment and bring necessary changes, if required. The Committee will also look into international best practices in the competition fields, especially anti-trust laws, merger guidelines and handling cross border competition issues. It will also study other regulatory regimes/institutional mechanisms/ govt. Policies which overlap with the Competition Act.
2. The updated version of the Competition Act, 2002 is available on the website www.cci.gov.in (Legislation corner). All stakeholders are requested to furnish comments through mail only on the following e-mail Id:-

The comments may be furnished by 7th December, 2018 only.
3. All comments received till this date will be analysed by the Review committee.
