Overview:

McAfee is hiring an experienced Financial Analyst. This role reports to Senior Manager Finance in Bangalore and will be responsible for supporting the global FP&A finance group at McAfee. They are seeking an accomplished and experienced, high-energy professional who is prepared to make a difference. They are looking for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments and possesses a passion for analysis, modeling & business partnership.

This is a remote position in India. They will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time

Qualifications for this job:

• You should have a thorough working knowledge of finance, accounting and business analysis.
• You should have a bachelor’s, Master’s or MBA degree in Finance, Business or Accounting or related field
• You should worked as a planner in your prior roles and have at least 4 years of related practical experience.
• Well skilled with Excel and reporting tools. Hyperion and SAP knowledge is mandatory
• Passion for Analysis, Modelling and Business Partnerships
• Strong Communication skills as need to converse with global audience
• Building partnerships and interpersonal skills
• Self-Motivated and have keen interest in enhancing the current process and taking it to the next level

What will you be doing:

• Tracking and Forecasting of Expense Line items and headcount
• Gather and analyze data to solve problems and evaluate scenarios to make predictions on future outcomes and support decision making
• Analytical Skills: Ability to work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching. Ability to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions.
• Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation to complex data analysis
• Designs, develops, and delivers financial / analytical solutions, resulting in decision support or models.
• Critical Thinking: Ability to look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
• Provide insight on the goals, forecasts, and financial performance of individual business areas and the corporation
• Create and enhance financial tools to make the clients financial decision – making more efficient and robust
• Interpret financial and operational performance to identify business risks and opportunities
• Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions.
• Partner with clients to develop long – range goals, annual budgets and monthly forecasts
• Communicate effectively with team and business partners to build relationships and present actionable and insightful recommendations
