Post Name and No. of Vacancy for MDL Recruitment 2023:

As per teh official notification of MDL Recruitment 2023, applications are invited for the posts of General Manager, Additional General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Chief Manager, Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Engineer, and Executive Trainee. There are a total of 39 vacancies for the given posts.

Age Limit for MDL Recruitment 2023:

As given in the notification of MDL Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit is given below-

For General Manager- The upper age limit is 54 years.

For Additional General Manager- The upper age limit is 52 years.

For Deputy General Manager- The upper age limit is 50 years.

For Chief Manager- The upper age limit is 46 years.

For Manager- The upper age limit is 42 years.

For Deputy Manager– The upper age limit is 38 years.

For Assistant Manager- The upper age limit is 34 years.

For Senior Engineer- The upper age limit is 30 years.

For Executive Trainee- The upper age limit is 28 years.

The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and by 03 years for OBC (NCL) candidates. Age relaxation for PWD candidates as per PWD Act /Govt.guidelines.

Salary for MDL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of MDL Recruitment 2023, the salary is given below-

For General Manager- The candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 120000-280000.

For Additional General Manager- The candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 100000-260000.

For Deputy General Manager- The candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 90000-240000.

For Chief Manager- The candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 80000-220000.

For Manager- The candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 70000-200000.

For Deputy Manager- The candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 60000-180000.

For Assistant Manager- The candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 50000-160000.

For Senior Engineer- The candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 40000-140000.

For Executive Trainee- The candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 40000-140000.

Qualification for MDL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates must have the given below qualifications to apply for MDL Recruitment 2023.

For General Manager/Additional General Manager (Tech)=

• Full Time/Part Time/Correspondence Degree in Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical/Electronics discipline with First class or a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent, from a recognized University or Deemed University or The Candidate Should have Institute recognized by AICTE OR
• Full Time/Part Time/Correspondence degree in Naval Architecture or degree in Engineering with Postgraduate Diploma in Naval Construction with First class or minimum 60% marks in both, Degree and Post-Graduation level or equivalent from a recognized University or Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE.

For Deputy General Manager (Finance)-

• Cost & Works Accounts (CWA) from the Institute of Cost & Works Accounts of India, Kolkata OR
• Chartered Accountants (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants India, New Delhi OR
• Two years Full Time /Part Time/Correspondence MBA (Finance)/ MMS (Finance) from a recognized University or Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE with First Class or 60% Marks OR
• The Candidate Should have Two years Full Time /Part Time/Correspondence Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Management (Finance) from an Institute recognized by AICTE with First Class or 60% Marks.

For Chief Manager, Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Engineer (Technical)-

• Full Time/Part Time/Correspondence degree in Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronic with minimum First Class or 60% Marks OR equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/ Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE OR
• Full Time/ Part Time / Correspondence degree in Naval Architecture or degree in Engineering with Postgraduate Diploma in Naval Construction with First class or minimum 60% marks in both Degree and Post-Graduation level or equivalent from a recognized University or Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE.

For Executive Trainee (Technical)-

• Full Time/ Part Time / Correspondence degree in Mechanical Engineering / Naval Architecture or degree in Engineering with Postgraduate Diploma in Naval Construction with First class or minimum 60% marks in both Degree and PostGraduation level or equivalent from a recognized University or Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE.

Selection Procedure for MDL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview and document verification.

Interview– The selection for the posts will be by way of Personal interviews only.

Documents Verification– All original documents such as degree certificate, proof of date of birth, caste certificate, etc. will be checked at the time of the interview.

How to Apply for MDL Recruitment 2023:

As per the MDL Recruitment 2023 Notification, eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of MDL. Candidates have to pay Rs. 300. Applicants belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD (Persons with Disability) are exempted from such payment of processing fee.). Printout of Online Applications of candidates working in Govt. / PSU are to be sent through the proper channel to “DGM (HR-CR), Mazdock House, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Dockyard Road, Mumbai-400010”.
