MECON Recruitment 2022: MECON Limited, a Miniratna Schedule “A”, a Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Steel. has invited applications from committed, result-oriented, suitably qualified, and experienced individuals for recruitment to the Post of Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) and Deputy Manager (Rajbhasha) for Rajbhasha Vibhag through online application mode only by following the steps given in the MECON Recruitment 2022 Notification. There are two vacancies for the Posts, one for each post.
The age of the candidates shall not be above 35 years for the Post of Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) and it shall not be above 40 years for the Post of Deputy Manager (Rajbhasha). The cutoff date for deciding the age and work experience shall be the date of advertisement. The candidate selected for the Post of Assistant Manager will be placed on the Pay Scale, Rs. 50000 – 3% – 160000 and the Deputy Manager will be placed on the Pay Scale Rs. 60000 – 3% – 180000. Candidates satisfying the conditions of eligibility criteria shall apply online through our website. 1. Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) – 01 (UR)
2. Deputy Manager (Rajbhasha) – 01 (OBC)
The age of the candidates shall not be above 35 years for the Post of Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) and it shall not be above 40 years for the Post of Deputy Manager (Rajbhasha). The cutoff date for deciding the age and work experience shall be the date of advertisement.
Note: The Upper Age Limit is relaxed subject to the condition that the maximum age of the applicant on the cut-off date shall not exceed 52 years.
For Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha):
Essential:
Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a subject at graduation level or Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a subject at graduation level from India Universities recognized by UGC.
Desirable:
Candidates should have a Diploma in translation from any recognised university/ institution with a minimum of 55% marks and basic knowledge of computer applications (MS office etc.) in an office environment.
For Deputy Manager (Rajbhasha):
Essential:
Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a subject at graduation level or Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a subject at graduation level from India Universities recognized by UGC.
Desirable:
Candidates should have a Diploma in translation from any recognised university/ institution with minimum 55% marks and basic knowledge in computer applications (MS office etc.) in an office environment.
For Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha):
Minimum 02 years Experience in the implementation of Rajbhasha / Official Language. English to Hindi Translation and vice versa.
For Deputy Manager (Rajbhasha):
Minimum 05 years of Experience in the implementation of Rajbhasha / Official Language. English to Hindi Translation and vice versa.
The candidate selected for the Post of Assistant Manager will be placed on the Pay Scale, Rs. 50000 – 3% – 160000 and the Deputy Manager will be placed on the Pay Scale Rs. 60000 – 3% – 180000.
The mode of selection shall be a Personal Interview. The mode of selection may be changed, if required, at the discretion of Management. Candidature will be subject to verification of details/documents when the candidate
reports for an interview, if shortlisted or at any stage of the recruitment process/ appointment.
Personal Interview: A list of candidates who are provisionally shortlisted for the Interview will be uploaded on MECON’s website and they will be intimated about the date, time, and venue of the interview through their registered E-mail ID as filled in by the candidates in the online application form.
The final list of selected candidates will be uploaded on MECON’s official website.
Candidates belonging to the GENERAL / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category are required to pay a Non-Refundable fee of Rs. 1000 (Rupees One Thousand only).
The candidates belonging to PwD / Ex-servicemen category or Internal candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee.
