Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023: Ministry of Defence is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Cook, Civilian Catering, LDC, Tin Smith, Barber, MTS, Civilian Motor Driver, Cleaner, Vehicle Mechanic, Painter, Carpenter, Fireman and Fire Engineer Driver. As per the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 236 vacancies. Selected candidates for the post of Cook, Civilian Catering, LDC, Tin Smith, MTS, Civilian Motor Driver, Vehicle Mechanic and Fireman will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 1. Selected candidates for the Barber, Cleaner, Carpenter and Painter posts will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 2 and selected candidates for the post of Fire Engineer Driver will get a monthly salary on pay scale level 3.
As per the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 official notification, the minimum age required for applying for the above-mentioned job post is 18 years and the maximum age limit for the post of Cook, CCI, LDC & Tradesman Mate (Labour), MTS (Chowkidar), Civil Motor Driver, Cleaner, Fireman, Fire Engine Driver, Vehicle Mechanic, Tin Smith, Barber, Painter and Carpenter is 25 years. And the maximum age limit for Civilian Motor Driver is 27 years. Candidates will be selected through a written test. Mention below is the qualification required for Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023:
Cook-
Candidates should have a Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and Proficiency in trade. Desirable to have one year of experience in the trade.
Civilian Catering Instructor-
Candidates should have a Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates should have a Diploma or Certificate in Catering from any recognized institution. Desirable to have one year of working experience in catering as an instructor.
Tin Smith-
Candidates should have a Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates should be proficient in trade work.
LDC-
Candidates should have a 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Candidates should have English Typing @35 w.p.m on the computer.
Barber-
Candidates should have a Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates should be proficient in trade work. Candidates should be conversant with the duties of the respective trade with one year of experience
