Qualification and Experience for Ministry of Earth Sciences Recruitment 2023

In accordance with the Ministry of Earth Sciences recruitment 2023, the eligibility criteria are given below:

For Deputation-

Scientist/Officers/Possessing educational qualification as specified for direct recruitment and working at the Government of India or State Government or Union Universities or recognized or PSU or semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations/Government funded Research organization/Institutes etc.
Experience-

• Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
  3 years ‘regular’ service in posts in the Pay level 14 of the Pay matrix (144200-218200) in the parent cadre or department. OR
• 5 years ‘regular’ service in posts in the Pay Level 13A of Pay matrix (131100-216600) in the parent cadre or department.

For Direct Recruits

• Ph.D. in Natural Science or Engineering/Technology with either Master’s degree in Natural Science or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University/Institute.
• Project Management/administration, teaching(at graduate or post-graduate level), supervision or training in the relevant field.

Experience-

• 21 years experience in research and development in a relevant field such as Geoscience/Geophysics/Geology/Seismology as evidence

Desirable-

• Post-doctoral research experience in the relevant field.

Salary for Ministry of Earth Sciences Recruitment 2023

Selected candidates will get a monthly salary in Level 15(Rs.182200-224100) of the pay scale including allowances.
