Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of External Affairs is looking for appropriate and eligible applicants for the post of Consultant for a period of 01 year but may be extended as per the requirements. The selected candidates for Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023 will be posted in various Passport Offices as listed below. There are 50 vacancies open for the given post. Candidates should not be more than 65 years old to apply for the Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023.
Based to the official notification of the Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be selected on the basis of an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview. The candidates who are selected will be paid a fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at retirement. As mentioned in the official notification of the Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023, suitable and desirous candidates can submit their duly filled application form along with the supporting documents to the Shri Dipak Das, Under Secretary (PSP-IV), Room No. 30ABC, 2nd Floor, PSP Division, Ministry of External Affairs, Patiala House Annexe, Tilak Marg, New Delhi-110001 on or before the last date. The applications received after the due date will be REJECTED.
As mentioned in the official notification of the Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023, there are 50 openings available for the post of Consultant in the Central Passport Organization at mentioned locations.
In order to apply to the Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit is not more than 65 years as on the closing date.
The appointment is made on a contract basis and the chosen candidates for Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023 will be appointed for an initial period of 01 year but may be extended as per requirements and performance.
The place of posting will be the Passport Office at Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bareilly, Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, Pune, Shimla, Srinagar, Surat and Vijayawada.
To apply for Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023, candidates must have superannuated from the Central Passport Organization at the level of Superintendent and above (pay level 7 and above) and have extensive experience in Establishment, Administration, Court cases, grievance redressal/ public dealing matters related to the Passport Offices.
The selected candidates for Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023 will be paid a fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the retirement (irrespective of the commutation pension availed). The amount of remuneration so fixed shall remain unchanged for the term of the contract. There will be no annual increment/ percentage increase during the contract period.
The selection for the Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2023 will be based on an interview. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. The Ministry will not pay candidates TA/DA for attending an interview.

The envelope containing the applicant’s details as mentioned above should be clearly labeled “Application for the position of Consultant in Central Passport Organization, Ministry of External Affairs”. No other mode of application will be accepted.
The last date for submitting the application form is 23.10.2023 by 05:30 PM. The received applications after the due date will be REJECTED summarily.
