Ministry of Finance Notifies Additional Special Court Entries for Karnataka Under PMLA:

The Ministry of Finance has amended the 2016 notification under Section 43 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, adding new entries relating to the designation of Special Courts in Karnataka.

The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, has issued a notification dated October 23, 2026, announcing a further amendment to an earlier notification related to the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.

The amendment has been made by the Central Government in consultation with the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court. It modifies the notification issued on February 5, 2016, by adding new entries under serial number 13, which relates to the state of Karnataka.
