Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023: Ministry of Finance is inviting applications from qualified and willing candidates for the Position of Member in the field of Finance or Accountancy, in the Adjudicating Authority under the Prevention of Money-laundering Act, 2002. The selected candidate will be placed in the pay scale of Level 14 (Rs. 144200 – Rs. 218200) [6th CPC Scale in PB-4 (Rs. 37400 – 67000) plus Grade of Rs. 10000] with usual allowances as are admissible to a Group ‘A’ officer of the equivalent grade, is to be filled up. There is only one vacancy for the Post.
As per the Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023 official notification, willing candidates may apply by sending their applications in the enclosed performs to the address given below:

The last date to apply is 60 days from the date of publication of notification.
Applications are invited for the Role of Member (Finance and Accountancy) in the Adjudicating Authority. There is only one vacancy for the Post.
The applicant to be eligible should hold the following qualifications:
(a) For the Member from the field of finance or accountancy, a person shall be qualified for appointment if he is or has been a member of an All India Service or a Central Service Group ‘A’, and has held the post of a Joint Secretary to the Central Government or an equivalent post in that service.
(b) From among such persons, the Selection Committee shall have due regard to the academic qualifications of chartered accountancy or a degree in finance, economics, or accountancy or having special experience in finance or accounts by virtue of having worked for at least two years in the finance or revenue department of either the Central Government or a State Government or being in charge of the finance or accounting wing of a corporation for a like period.
The person appointed as Member or Chairperson shall be required to hold office for five years, whether as Member or in continuation as Chairperson, as the case may be, from the date he enters upon his office, or till he attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
As per the Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023 notification, the selected candidate for the post of Member (Finance or Accountancy) shall be placed in the pay scale of Level 15 (Rs. 182200-Rs. 224100) {6th CPC Scale in HAG — Rs.67000 — (annual increment @3%) 79000} with usual allowances as are admissible to a Group ‘A’ officer of the equivalent grade.
