Ministry of Labour Notifies Key Officials as Inspector-cum-Facilitators Across India The Ministry of Labour and Employment has notified that the Central Government has made an appointment of certain officials as the Inspector-cum-Facilitator. These officials have been granted the said authority for the purposes of Chapter V and Chapter VI of the Code on Social Security, 2020, in relation to all establishments for which the central government is the appropriate government under clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 2 of the said code.

These officials include Chief Labour Commissioner (Central); Additional Chief Labour Commissioner (Central); Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (Central); Regional Labour Commissioner (Central); Assistant Labour Commissioner (Central); and Labour Enforcement Officer (Central) in the office of Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), Headquarters; and Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), Regional Labour Commissioner (Central), Assistant Labour Commissioner (Central), and Labour Enforcement Officer (Central) in all regions.
