Ministry of Labour Authorizes Recovery Officers Under Code on Social Security, 2020
The Ministry of Labour and Employment recently shared a notification on May 8, 2026, regarding the authorization of officers as Recovery Officers under the Code on Social Security, 2020.
The Central Government has officially authorized the officers listed in column (2) of the table to act as recovery officers, using its powers given under clause (68) of section 2 along with section 129 of the Code on Social Security, 2020.
These officers will exercise their powers in the areas specified in column (3) of the table and will deal with all establishments covered under Chapter IV of the code, as well as matters related to that chapter.
This notification will take effect from the date the notification is published in the Official Gazette.
