Ministry of Mines Recruitment 2023: Ministry of Mines has released a notification regarding hiring candidates for the post of Directorate General in central headquarters at the geological survey of India Kolkata. The engagement will be on a contract basis of 03 years. As per the Ministry of Mines Recruitment notification, there is only 01 vacancy for this post. The Selected candidate will get the salary on the pay scale level 17.
The maximum age limit for applying for this post is 56 years. Candidate meeting the eligibility criteria should send their duly filled application to the address mentioned below. As per the Ministry of Mines Recruitment 2023 notification, there is 01 vacancy for the post of Directorate General.
Candidates applying for the post of Directorate General he/she should be Officers under the Central Government or State Governments Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or recognized research institutions or Universities semi-Government or statutory or autonomous organizations;
(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department.
(ii) With one year of service in the grade rendered after appointment on a regular basis in level-16 of the pay matrix, or equivalent.
(iii) With two years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the level-15 of the pay matrix or equivalent.
Candidate must have a Master of Science in Geological Science or Master of Science (Technology) in Geology or Master of Science in Geology or Integrated Master of Science in Applied Geology or Master of Technology (Geo-Exploration) or Master of Technology (Engineering Geology) or Master of Science (Marine Geology) or Master of Science in Earth Science and Resource Management or Master of Science in Oceanography and Coastal Areas Studies or Master of Science in Petroleum Geosciences course or Master of Science in Geochemistry from a recognized University OR Master of Science in Physics or Applied Physics or Master of Science in Geophysics or Integrated Master of Science in Exploration Geophysics or Master of Science in Marine Geophysics or Master of Science (Tech.) in Applied Geophysics from a recognized university.
