Ministry of Tourism Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Tourism is recruiting aspirants to fill the post of Assistant Director General/ Director (Group ‘A’ Gazetted) on a deputation basis (including short-term contract basis) as per the Recruitment Rules. There are 03 vacancies for the given post. According to the official notification of the Ministry of Tourism Recruitment 2023, selected applicants will get remuneration in the scale of pay in the pay Matrix Rs. 67700 to Rs.208700 as per the 7th CPC. Candidate should have 07 years of working experience in the relevant field.
In accordance with the official notification of the Ministry of Tourism Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit shall not exceed fifty-six years and for appointment by deputation (including Short Term Contract) shall not exceed 56 years as of the closing date or receipt of applications. The maximum age limit is on the closing date of the receipt of applications. The candidate will be appointed on a deputation basis (including a short-term contract basis) for a four years period which will not be exceeded. The eligibility criteria for the above post are given below.
Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Semi Government or recognized research institutes or Union territories or universities Public Sector Undertakings or statutory or autonomous bodies:-
(i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with five years of regular service in the post in level-9 (Rs.53100-167800) or in level 10 (Rs. 56100-177500) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;
Candidates applying for the above-mentioned post must have the following qualification.
Desirable Qualification
Master’s Degree or Master of Business Administration or Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Tourism or Tourism Management or Tourism and Travels or Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Management or Tourism and Travel Management or Tourism Studies or Tourism Administration.
Candidate should have Seven years of experience in the field of tourism or public relations or publicity or administrative work including three years of experience in the field of Tourism and hospitality in the Central Government or State Government or the Union territory administration or Public sector Undertakings or University or recognized research institutions or statutory or autonomous organizations or Government recognized educational Institutions or registered corporate entities.
The candidate will be appointed on a deputation basis (including a short-term contract basis) for a four years period which will not be exceeded.
Selected applicants will get remuneration in the scale of pay in the pay Matrix Rs. 67700 to Rs.208700 as per the 7th CPC.
