The Ministry of Finance has introduced a few amendments in a previous Indian Government's notification, by replacing a few entries in the table.

MOF Notification on Designation of Special Court in Raipur for Trial of Offences Punishable Under Benami Transaction Act
The Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) has recently issued an official notification [Notification No. 117/2025/F. No. 149/144/2015-TPL-Part(2)], dated July 17, 2025, informing that in consultation with the Chief Justice of the respective High Court, the Central Government has introduced few significant amendments in an earlier notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) dated October 16, 2018, published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary.
The government has taken this action in exercise of its powers granted under sub-section (1) of Section 50 of the Prohibition of Benami Property Transactions Act, 1988 (45 of 1988). Below are listed the introduced changes:
In the Government of India's notification dated October 16, 2018 [Notification No. S.O. 5323(E)], in the table:
- Against serial number 5, for the entries under column (3), the “Court of XII Additional Sessions Judge, Raipur” entries will be replaced.
- Against serial number 21, for the entries under column (3), the “Special Court (Communal Riots), Jaipur” entries will be replaced.
