More than 2000 GST Taxpayers will be benefited from Amnesty Scheme

The GST Amnesty Scheme announced by the Centre is expected to benefit around 2000 Madhya Pradesh GST payers by providing an additional window for filing appeals.

The scheme enables GST payers until January 31, 2024, to file challenges against demand orders.

The amnesty scheme will benefit thousands of taxpayers in MP in cases where the appeals were either denied owing to late filing or the taxpayer failed to file an appeal, or a late-filed appeal is ongoing before an appellate body and is likely to be dismissed, said by Sudip Kumar Gupta, MP Commercial Tax Appeal Board member.
