An Indian national was apprehended by Mumbai airport customs on Thursday with nearly 4.2 kilogramme of gold dust worth Rs.2.28 crores, according to an official.
According to the authority, the gold dust was discovered from an Indian person arriving from Muscat.
"Today, Mumbai Airport Customs seized over 4.2 kilogrammes of gold dust worth Rs 2.28 crores from an Indian national arriving from Muscat." "Gold dust was concealed in meticulously stitched pockets inside the passenger's jeans, undergarments, and knee caps," the official stated.
