Name of 8782 Chartered Accountants removed from ICAI Register of Members for non payment of membership fees [ICAI Notification] The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI) has notifies removing the name of 8782 Chartered Accountants from ICAI Register of Members for non payment of membership fees via issuing Notification. The Notification Stated, "In pursuance of Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, it is hereby notified that in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 20(1) (c) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949,the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has removed from the Register of Members of this Institute with effect from 01/03/2020 on account of non-payment of prescribed fees."
