Nari Shakti and Women Empowerment: ICMAI issues ‘The Management Accountant’ March 2025 Edition

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has published the March 2025 edition of ‘The Management Accountant’ (TMA), a journal that discusses major economic and financial concerns. The March 2025 edition is dedicated to the theme of “Nari Shakti” (Women Empowerment), which coincides with International Women’s Day on March 8, 2025. This issue, which includes incisive articles, interviews, and expert opinions, emphasises the critical role of women in finance, management, and national development.

The foreword for this edition is penned by ICMAI President CMA Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak, who emphasised the importance of women’s empowerment in overall nation building. • “Unheard Voices, Unseen Strength: Empowering Minority Women in Rural Bengal” explores attempts to help marginalised women.
• “Impact of Financial Inclusion on Quality of Life and Financial Happiness of Women” is one of the studies that examines the financial issues that domestic workers and small business owners confront in Kolkata.
