Position-Wise Qualification, Remuneration for NHAI Recruitment 2022

1.Young Professional

Remuneration (per month)

i. Rs.90,000/- (all inclusive) plus Transport Allowance in respect of retired officers who are in receipt of pension from public funds.

ii. Rs. 1,25,000/- (all inclusive) plus Transport Allowance in respect of retired officers who are not in receipt of pension from public funds.

Educational Qualification and Experience Required

(i) Degree of recognized University / Institute in Science group subject (The essential educational qualification is not mandatory in case of the officers retired from
forest/agriculture/horticulture/social forestry department who have relevant experience.)

(ii) Retired officers from Central/State Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies, not below the level of Conservator of Forests or Deputy Secretary/Director

(iii) 15 years’ of experience in the field of Forestry or Agricultural or Horticulture or Environment.

Age limit-  Not exceeding 65 years as on the prescribed date of receipt of online applications.

Job description

• All administrative matters pertaining to management of highways plantations, handling of database on tree cutting and plantations.
• Assessment of median & avenue plantation on National Highway under the jurisdiction of ROs and suggest remedial measures.
• Develop action plan for project implementation.
• Development of Site-specific project proposal for plantation project.
• Consultation & Coordination with relevant State agencies – SFDS, SFDCs, Departments of Horticulture, Agriculture, Sericulture and rural development for convergence of financial and technical resources.
• Scrutinize the ongoing & future DPRs/CAs for effective implementation of the provisions for avenue & median plantations and suggest measures with respect to the Green Highways Policy & Guidelines.

2.Young Professional (Plantation)

Remuneration (per month)-  Rs.60,000/- (all inclusive)

Educational Qualification and Experience Required

Post Graduation / Graduation in Forestry / Horticulture / Agriculture from National Level reputed institute such as IIFM, IIPM, IRMA, ICFRE etc.

Age Limit- Not exceeding 30 years as on the prescribed date of receipt of online applications.

Job description

• Assessment of current status of median & avenue plantation on existing highway projects in respective RO / PIU and suggest remedial measures.
• Develop site specific projects proposal for plantation project.
• Develop action plan for Project Implementation including selection of site specific species list.
• Coordinate with Project Implementing Agencies (Concessionaire / Government Agency / Private Agency / NGOs etc.) for effective implementation and monitoring plantation project.
• Submit monthly assessment report on project implementation to respective RO & HQ.
• Organize onsite training & awareness programs for stakeholders.
• Facilitate research agencies in quantification of environment & social benefits of the projects
