Naval Dockyard Recruitment 2023: Naval Dockyard is seeking online applications from ITI-qualified/ fresher (Rigger) candidates (Male/Female) in various designated trades for Apprenticeship Training for a period of 02 years. As mentioned in the official notification of Naval Dockyard Recruitment 2023, there are 281 vacant seats available for the above-mentioned post. The selection will be based on a written test, skill test and interview. Candidates who qualify the written test, skill test and interview will be called for the medical examination.
According to the official notification of Naval Dockyard Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit is 14 years and the maximum age limit is 21 years to apply for the given post. The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary of Rs.7000 for ITI passed and Rs.6000 for freshers during 1st year and during 2nd-year candidates will be given a monthly salary with a 10% increase. According to the official notification of Naval Dockyard Recruitment 2023, candidates should have completed the age of 14 years and below the age of 21 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST as per extant rules & wards of Defence employees or Naval civilians as per MoD letter FM/0442/NHQ/1278 D(N-II) dated 14 Nov 1996.
In accordance with the official notification of Naval Dockyard Recruitment 2023, as per Apprentices Act 1961 read in conjunction with Apprenticeship Rule 1992, the minimum educational qualification for a person to undergo apprenticeship training in Designated Trades shall be Std 10 passed (in accordance with Apprentice Act 1961) with a minimum of 50% marks in Std 10 examination along with ITI examination passed (Provisional National Trade Certificate acceptable) in relevant trade with aggregate of 65% marks. Further, the candidate should have passed the relevant ITI/ trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT and should possess the qualification as on the closing date of application. The minimum qualification for candidates who are to be enrolled for Rigger as ‘Fresher’ shall be Std 8 pass only, without ITI and for Forger and Heat Treater trade shall be 10th std. pass only, without ITI.
