Post Name and Vacancies for NDMA Recruitment 2024:

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Senior Consultant and Consultant in various departments. There are 15 openings to be filled for NDMA Recruitment 2024.

Age Limit for NDMA Recruitment 2024:

The age criteria for applying to NDMA Recruitment 2024 are listed below-

• The maximum age limit is 50 years (In the case of retired Govt. employees, the maximum age limit is 62 years) to apply for the post of Senior Consultant.
• The maximum age limit is 40 years (In the case of retired Govt. employees, the maximum age limit is 62 years) to apply for the post of Consultant.

Salary for NDMA Recruitment 2024:

The chosen candidates for NDMA Recruitment 2024 will get a monthly salary as mentioned below-

• The selected candidates for Senior Consultant will get a monthly salary of Rs.125000- Rs.175000.
• The selected candidates for Consultant will get a monthly salary of Rs.75000-Rs.100000.

Qualification and Experience for NDMA Recruitment 2024:

Candidate should have the required qualifications and experience for applying to NDMA Recruitment 2024 as given below-

For Senior Consultant (Disaster Management for Nuclear and Radiological Hazards)-

• The candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Physics or Chemistry of BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/Nuclear engineering/reactor engineering or a related subject from a recognized university.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have research qualifications in Nuclear and Radiological or a related subject.

Experience-

• The candidate should have experience of at least 05 years in Nuclear and Radiological emergency management, disaster response/recovery or similar area.
• The candidate should have a duration of research work (PhD/Post Doctoral) will be counted in work experience (either actual duration or 05 years, whichever is less).

For Consultant (GIS Consultant)-

• The candidate should have a Master’s degree in ECE/Civil/IT/Geo-Tech or in Physics/Geography/geology/environment science/remote sensing/geo-informatics or any other related disciplines.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have a research degree (Ph.D.) or M.Tech in Remote Sensing/Geo-information related subject.

Experience-

• The candidate should have experience of at least 03 years in GIS management or related subjects.
• The candidate should have a duration of research work (PhD/M.Tech will be counted for work experience).
• The candidate should have field experience in the project with substantial use of director risk reduction and mitigation will be given more weightage in the selection process.
• Both the educational qualification and work experience must prove the credentials of the applicant as an established expert in the field.

For Senior Consultant (GIS Management)-

• The candidate should have a Master’s degree in ECE/Civil/IT/Geo-Tech or in Physics/Geography/geology/environmental science/remote sensing/GIS or any other related disciplines.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have a research degree (Ph.D) or any qualification in Remote Sensing/Geo-informatics related subject.

Experience-

• The candidate should have experience of at least 05 years in GIS Management or related subjects.
• The candidate should have a duration of research work (PhD/M.tech) that will be conducted for work experience.
• The candidate should have field experience in the project with substantial use of disaster risk reduction and mitigation and will be given more weightage in the selection process.
• The candidate should have both educational qualifications and work experience and must prove the credentials of the applicant as an established expert in the field.
