NEET-MDS 2024: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Extends Registration Window

In a recent development, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW), Government of India, has announced the re-opening of the registration window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) MDS 2024. This decision comes in light of the extension of the cut-off date for completion of the internship for NEET-MDS 2024 eligibility.

According to the official notification, the cut-off date for completion of internship has been extended to 30 June 2024. NEET-MDS 2024 is scheduled to be conducted on March 18, 2024, as previously notified.

Candidates who are completing their internship during the period from 01.04.2024 to 30.06.2024 and meet all other eligibility criteria as prescribed in the NEET-MDS 2024 Information Bulletin are eligible to apply for the exam. The registration window for such candidates will be opened online from 9 March 2024 (10 AM onwards) to 11 March 2024 (11:55 PM onwards). Steps to Apply for NEET – MDS 2024: 

• Step 1: Visit NEET MDS official website: natboard.edu.in.
• Step 2: Locate the NEET MDS 2024 Registration Link.
• Step 3: Read and follow the provided instructions and eligibility criteria.
• Step 4: Create an account with personal details or log in if already registered.
• Step 5: Fill personal details accurately, including name, DOB, gender, nationality, and category.
• Step 6: Enter contact information: address, email and mobile number.
• Step 7: Upload the required documents: photo, signature and other specified documents.
• Step 8: Provide educational details: undergraduate degree and internship completion.
• Step 9: Pay the registration fee via online payment modes.
• Step 10: Print the confirmation page after successful submission.

Important Dates for NEET- MDS 2024:

• Cut-off Date Extension: The cut-off date for completion of the internship has been extended to 30 June 2024.
• Registration Window: The registration window for eligible candidates will be opened online from 9 March 2024 (10 AM onwards) to 11 March 2024 (11:55 PM onwards).
• Admit Card Release: Admit cards for NEET-MDS 2024 will be released on 15.03.2024.

During the registration process, candidates will have the opportunity to choose their preferred state for appearing in the examination. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will allocate the examination city within the chosen state or a nearby state based on availability. Furthermore, admit cards for NEET-MDS 2024 will be released on 15.03.2024.
