NEET PG 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released  the list of test cities for the NEET-PG 2024 exam on Friday, which will be held on 11th August.

The exam will be conducted in two shifts in 185 cities across the country due to heightened security measures mandated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and NBEMS, Government of India.

The test cities that were allotted to candidates for the 23rd June exam are no longer valid, according to the notification sent to them with their admission cards.

Using their NEET-PG 2024 applicant login credentials, they must choose their desired test cities once again between 19th July to 22nd July (till 11:55 PM) on the NBEMS website.

Candidates for the National Eligibility Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 are concerned about the NBEMS website’s lag time and login problems when choosing the exam city. However, because of a Microsoft outage, the facility has not yet begun, and students have reported that the login page is broken.

Many NEET PG candidates posted screen grabs of the NBEMS homepage and login screen, appearing irritated that they couldn’t check in and choose their exam locations. The website stated, “The TCS application for the NEET PG 2024 test city selection is also experiencing issues due to the ongoing Microsoft outage globally.” As soon as the problems are fixed by the end of the day, the application will launch.

The NEET PG 2024 cities list and the test city allocation plan’s ambiguity were also questioned by others. Candidates were asked to choose four exam cities in which they wanted to take the test by the medical board. The window that allows users to select their favourite test cities ends on 22nd July.

Students are using social media as a platform to vent their frustrations over the situation. “With this NBE-TCS, one simple login and choice of test City is not possible, and they plan on conducting 2 shift exams on the same day with normalization of scores,” stated an X user in a post. The joke of the year, in fact!.

New centers, random allotment

“Exactly why was it necessary to choose new centers?” questioned a candidate. amid two shifts as well? Simply said, another day lost to page refreshes.

“This is a serious issue,” a doctor wrote on X in response to NBEMS’s random selection of cities from the desired choices. Put four options for the exam centres, they advise. Additionally, students will be randomly assigned to four centres. Given that there is another centre close to his home, how can a student drive too far to get to one? Inane

“Why did they offer us the option to provide options if they can’t even guarantee that we will receive one of the four exam centres that we have provided?” Another X user stated, “The greatest curse in our nation is being a medical student or doctor.

What is the procedure for filling out the choices if the website is not accessible? Even in cases when the website is operational, logging in is impossible. They will send you wherever in the nation if we are unable to fill choices, a different candidate feared.

It appears that the portal is hopeless. Not opening. Allows no login if it loads. Why are you all acting this way? A further candidate questioned, “If you’re not ready, why do you worry the candidates?”
