NEET PG Exam 2024: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has declared that new dates for the medical entrance exam will be revealed before next weekend, following the postponement of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Postgraduate (NEET PG) by a few days.
According to sources, NBE President Dr. Abhijat Sheth stated that a new date for NEET PG will be revealed “hopefully before next weekend.” The Ministry of Education (MoE) has received a plan from the board for approval, and the revised exam date will be announced following the ministry’s confirmation.
Mr. Seth emphasized the rationale behind the NEET PG exam cancellation, stating that the Ministry needed to confirm that the exam procedure was secure and to check its robustness hours in advance of the scheduled exam date.
He mentioned that there had been no reports of any form of exam malfunction, including paper leaks. Because of the board’s strict SoPs, the NBE has been conducting NEET PG for the past seven years without any reports of paper leaks.
On 22nd June the exam was postponed, with less than 12 hours notice. This caused a stir among students and raised questions about the exam’s overall functionality.
