New Logo of Chartered Accountant in Country; Will now be called 'CA India'
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has launched a new logo after many years to mark its 75th anniversary and to give a new look to the profession and the institute. Chartered Accountants (CA) across the country can use the new CA logo.
For the first time, the Tricolor and India word have been included in the logo, which will make it easier for Indian CAs to be identified abroad and it will be easier to identify Indians abroad. ICAI has issued a 13-page guideline for CAs across the country regarding the use of logo.
The ICAI was established in 1950 under the Parliamentary Act. The previous logo, which merely featured the term CA written in English next to a green check mark, was in use until recently. The Trademark Authority has approved the Trademark Registrar's registration application for the new "CA India" logo, which was submitted by ICAI in keeping with its professional mission to deliver innovation.
The new logo consists of two tick marks (inverted), with the letters 'CA' appearing in the tricolour along with the word 'INDIA' against a white background.
The Central Government granted clearance for the inclusion of the name India in the logo. The dynamic nature of the industry in the present has been portrayed through the creative design of the new logo.
It embraces the attitudes, values, and ideas that the profession now holds. Following approval, ICAI prominently displayed the new logo on the main page of its website. On the home page itself, the new logo is as big as the entire screen, the link to download it and the link to its manual are given.
