News of Central Government Providing Free Laptops to Students Fake: PIB Fact Check

The Press Information Bureau (PIB) of India is spreading awareness regarding fake news of the central government providing free laptops to students.

Recently, a claim has been made on a Youtube Channel, where it was stated that the central government is offering free laptops under “Free Laptop Yojana 2025.”

But this news is totally fake and PIB Fact Check closely verified this. The Central Government of PM Modi is not running any such scheme currently. People should be cautious of such Youtube channels spreading fake news.

A tweet by PIB, stated, “Did you also come across #fake YouTube videos claiming to offer free laptops under “Free Laptop Yojana 2025″ ⁉️#PIBFactCheck:” Beware⚠️ The claim made in the video of the YouTube channel “MNHELPINGFOREVER” is #FAKE ‼️ 🔹Central Government is not running any such scheme. Be cautious of such YT channels spreading fake news”

PIB Fact Check tweeted about this matter, “Beware of Fraudsters❗️ A message is being circulated with a link claiming that the central government is providing free laptops to students. #PIBFactCheck ❌ This message is #fake! 🚫 Do NOT click on suspicious links. ▶️ Always verify information through official sources.”
