NID DAT 2023: B.Des Mains Admit Card Released, Check Exam Pattern, How to Download Admit Card

NID DAT 2023: The National Institute of Design (NID) has released the admit cards for the National Institute of Design-Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) 2023 on its official website. The admit card has been released for the mains exam of the B.Design (Bachelor of Design) entrance test. The NID published the admit card today, 14th April 2023. Candidates who have qualified for the NID DAT B.Des mains exam can download their admit cards from the official website. Candidates can download their mains admit card by entering their registered email ID and date of birth.

The NID DAT is conducted every year to admit students into B.Des and M.Des courses in various NIDs located across the country. Many universities and colleges also accept NID DAT scores for admission into their undergraduate and postgraduate design courses. The NID DAT consists of two phases: prelims and mains. The NID DAT prelims exam was held on 8th January 2023. The NID DAT prelims exam result for the B.Des course was declared on 16th March 2023. Candidates were able to apply for rechecking from 30th March to 1st April 2023.

NID DAT B.Des Mains Exam Pattern

The NID DAT mains exam for the B.Des course will be held on 30th April 2023. The result for the same will be available from 18th May 2023. Candidates will be able to apply for the rechecking process for the NID DAT mains exam on the 18th and 19th of May 2023. The NID DAT mains exam for the B.Des course will be held in offline mode. The examination will be conducted at any one of the NID campuses at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Gandhinagar, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Assam. The examination will be conducted for 3 hours. The maximum mark for the NID DAT B.Des mains exam is 100. Candidates appearing for the mains exam have to go through the following two phases at the campus:

NID Studio Test: In this test, candidates have to sketch/draw and make hands-on models. There may be group discussions, presentations, and many more.

NID Personal Interview: Candidates who pass the studio test are shortlisted for the interview phase. The interview will be held separately at the same test centers.

How to Download NID DAT 2023 Admit Card 

Candidates qualified for the NID DAT mains exam can download their admit cards by following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Go to the official website of the NID

Step 2: Click on the “Admissions” link and it will open the Admission Window

Step 3: On the Admission window, click on the B.Des. DAT Mains Admit Card link available there

Step 4: Enter your email address and date of birth and click on submit button

Step 5: Your NID DAT B.Des Mains Admit Card will appear on the screen

Step 6: Download it and take a printout for the exam day
