Pharmacy Entrance Exams: Students opting for the medical stream in class 12th always face the dilemma of if not NEET, then what. Due to a lack of awareness among students about various domains of medical science, most of them pursue some courses outside of their field. Pharmacy is one of the most established medical sectors and offers a very promising career. Pharmacists are the backbone of the medical industry, as they are the ones who make medicines available to the masses.
The NEET UG exam is conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS, and other undergraduate medical courses in recognized medical, dental, AYUSH, and other colleges across India. The NEET UG exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The NEET UG exam is scheduled on 7th May 2023. But, NEET is not the sole entrance exam to get admitted into medical colleges. The WBJEE Board organizes the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) for admission to various engineering and pharmacy courses. It is a state-level examination that offers admission to undergraduate pharmacy courses at various medical colleges in the West Bengal state.

Exam Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
Exam Duration: Two shifts of two hours each
The MH-CET, also known as Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, is conducted for admission to various engineering, B.Pharma, and agricultural courses. The MH-CET cell organizes the MH-CET for admission to pharmacy colleges in Maharashtra. The MH-CET cell will notify the exam date for the MH-CET 2023 soon.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) organizes the GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) for admission to various engineering and pharmacy programs in Gujarat state’s universities. The GUJCET provides a golden opportunity to medical aspirants as it provides admission to the prestigious B.Pharma courses in various medical colleges of Gujarat.

Exam Duration: 3 hours
Exam Subjects: Physics, Chemistry & Biology for Pharmacy courses
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) conducts TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agricultural, and Medical Common Entrance Test) every year. It is a state-level exam conducted for admission to various engineering, pharmacy, and agricultural courses. The students get the chance to study pharmacy courses in a recognized institution in Telangana.
Exam Date: 10th and 11th May 2023
Registration Last Date: 20th April 2023
The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) conducts the AP EAMCET examination every year. The AP EAMCET, also known as AP EAPCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) offers admission to various universities of Andhra Pradesh. The AP EAPCET exam is conducted for engineering, pharmacy, and agricultural programs. The AP EAPCET exam dates for pharmacy and agriculture are between 22nd May and 23rd May 2023.
The Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Government of Kerala, conducts the KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical entrance examination) to select suitable candidates. It is a state-level exam that provides admission to engineering, architecture, and pharmacy courses across various institutions in Kerala. Students can get admission to pharmacy colleges in Kerala through this exam.

The National Testing Agency conducts the GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) every year for admission to postgraduate pharmacy courses. It is a national-level exam conducted once every year. The expected date of the GPAT examination is mid-May 2023. The last date for registration was 13th March 2023.
