Age Limit for NMRC Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of NMRC Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit is 45 years and the maximum age limit is 57 years.

Salary for NMRC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NMRC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs.180000 – 340000 (IDA) and other allowance as per NMRC Rules or in equivalent CDA pay scale in case of deputation, from the date of assumption of office as Director, NMRC.

Qualification and Experience for NMRC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of NMRC Recruitment 2023, the required qualification and experience are mentioned below-

For Director (System)-

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized institution of repute along with a good academic record.
• Candidate should have sound technical knowledge and a proven track record of a minimum of twenty (20) years of service in the Executive Cadre.
• Experience in planning, construction and execution of Railway/ Metro Rail projects.
• Extensive experience in design, procurement, installation and maintenance of 25 KV AC Traction system, sub-stations, HVAC, E and M of elevated stations OR modern rolling stock used in Rail Based Mass Transit Systems OR signaling and telecommunication of railway/metro projects.
• Candidates should have experience and knowledge of interfacing with railway or metro-related disciplines such as track laying works, signaling, electrification and rolling stock, etc.

Desirable-

• MBA or Masters in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• Experience in the Construction and Maintenance of Metro/ Urban Transport Systems.
• Experience in designing, procurement, installation and maintenance of HVAC, 33KV auxiliary power systems /Modern Electrical Rolling stock/S and T Systems.
• Experience in all phases of major rail-based urban transportation projects on contracts i.e. Planning, Bid Documents, Bidding, Execution, Commissioning, post Commissioning, etc.
• Experience and knowledge of complying with project-related requirements of international funding institutions.

For Director (Project)-

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution of repute along with a good academic record.
• Candidate should have sound technical knowledge and a proven track record of a minimum of 20 years of service in the Executive Cadre.
• Experience in planning, construction and execution of Railway/ Metro Rail projects.
• Extensive experience in preparing tenders/contract management and project management of important engineering structures such as bridges/tunnels from domestic and international vendors.
• Experience and knowledge of coordination and interface with Railway/ Metro Rail-related disciplines such as track, signaling, electrification and rolling stock, etc.
• Experience in handling design/consultancy works related to Rail/ Metro Rail Transport Projects.

Desirable-

• MBA or Master’s in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in Elevated construction such as viaducts, stations etc.
• Experience in all phases of rail-based urban transportation projects on an international bidding contract basis, i.e. Planning, preparing Bid Documents, Bidding, Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R), Execution, Commissioning, Post Commissioning, Arbitration etc.
• Experience and knowledge of complying with project-related requirements of international funding institutions.

Tenure for NMRC Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of NMRC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be appointed for a period of 05 years from the date of joining or till the date of superannuation, whichever is earlier.

Selection Process for NMRC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of NMRC Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be selected on the basis of an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified of the all details regarding the interview. The Selection Committee’s decision will be final, and it will not be subject to further discussion or correspondence in this regard.
