For Category-Il Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) Maintainer

• The candidate should have an SSC (10th) with a minimum of 50% marks in Science subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 year ITI certificate in a relevant trade (Electrician/Fitter/ Instrumentation/Electronics/ Machinist/Turner/Welder)
• For trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 2 years, the candidates shall have at least one year of relevant working experience after completion of the course.
• The candidate should have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.

Note–

• The ITI certificate should be in trades, which have relevance to the field of training and appointment in O&M.
• The trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than two years and the candidate has undergone one-year apprenticeship training in different industries/establishments after completion of the course in that trade, the same shall be considered as one-year experience. However, the period of internship will not be counted as experience.
