NTA Admission 2023: Check Course, Date and Other Important Information
NTA Admission 2023: National Testing Agency (NTA), has opened admission for the bachelor’s degree program in Agriculture and Allied Sciences, at Agricultural Universities for 20% of the total seats of the University. Earlier the admission was supposed to be done through the ICAR, All India Entrance Examination for Admission- (AIEEA), but now it has been decided by the ICAR that the admission will be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for specific Under Graduation courses for the upcoming academic year.
As a result, there would be no ICAR-AIEEA (UG) for admission in Agriculture and Allied Sciences. The only entrance examination taken for admission will be CUET (UG)-2023. It is a common entrance exam for admission to the UG Programmes offered by Central Universities. Candidates who wish to apply can visit the official website and look for further information.
Before applying for the CUET (UG) – 2023, candidates are advised to visit the ICAR website and read the Prospectus/Information Bulletin on details such as eligibility as regards age, passing/appearing in qualifying exams, minimum marks in qualifying exams, relaxation thereof, subject combinations which they are required to appear in CUET(UG), reservation, admission procedure, etc. The syllabus and course mapping to the subjects covered in CUET (UG) 2023 are available on the CUET website.
The last date for the submission of the application, as per the announcement is 12th March 2023 at 09:00 PM. The fee for the application form for General/ EWS/ OBC-NCL candidates is Rs.550 and for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender is Rs.275. The last date of payment of fees is 12.03.2023 (up to 11.50 PM).
As per the official announcement, the date of the examination is 21st March 2023.
