Oil India Recruitment 2024: Oil India Limited (OIL), is accepting applications from suitable and eligible candidates for the posts of Contractual Drilling- Workover Operator, Workover Mechanic, Assistant Operator and Assistant Mechanic. As stated in the official notification of Oil India Recruitment 2024 there are 23 available seats for the above-mentioned posts. The candidates should have passed their class 10th from a government-authorised education board and have the required trade certificates as per the requirement. Also, the candidate should have the required post-qualification experience to be considered eligible for Oil India Recruitment 2024.

Qualifications and Experiences for Oil India Recruitment 2024:
An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and experience to be eligible for Oil India Recruitment 2024:
Contractual Drilling/Worker Operator:
The candidate should have Passed Class 10 from the Government Recognized Education Board.
The candidate should have Passed 03 (Three) years of Diploma in any Engineering discipline from the Government Recognized Polytechnic.
The candidate should have a minimum 02 (Two) years post qualification work experience in Drilling / Workover activities like Drilling / Workover operation, able to operate a brake during any workover operation, raising & lowering of workover mast, rig floor operations like making & lowering BHA, tripping in/tripping out tubular etc. OR
The candidate should have passed a Bachelor’s degree in Science Stream from the Government Recognized University.
The applicants must have a minimum 02 years post-qualification work experience in Drilling / Workover activities like Drilling / Workover operation, able to operate brake during any workover operation, raising & lowering of workover mast, rig floor operations like making & lowering BHA, tripping in/tripping out tubular etc.OR
The candidate must have passed Class 10 from the Government Recognized Education Board.
The candidate must have a Trade certificate in any trade of Diesel Mechanic /Fitter / Electrician / Turner/Welder/Motor Mechanic/Machinist Trade from a Government Recognized Institute.
The candidate must have a minimum of 05 (Five) years post-qualification work experience in Drilling / Workover activities like Drilling / Workover operation, able to operate the brake during any workover operation, rig down & rig up operation, raising & lowering of workover mast, rig floor operations like making & lowering BHA, tripping in/tripping out tubular etc.
Contractual Drilling/Worker Mechanic:
The candidate should have passed Class 10 from the Government Recognized Education Board.
The candidate should have passed 03 (Three) years of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering from a Government-recognised polytechnic.
The candidate should have a minimum 02 of two) years post-qualification relevant work experience in the maintenance and operation of engines, pumps, compressors, generating sets, laying and connecting high-pressure lines etc. in Drilling/Workover wells in any E&P company.

The selected candidates for Oil India Recruitment 2024 will be hired for a period of a year. The initial period of the contractual engagement will be for a period of 6 months that will be extendable by another tenure of 6 months, subject to departmental requirements, performance and conduct of the incumbent, medical fitness etc.
