Pay Level for BPRD Recruitment 2024:

The selected candidate for BPRD Recruitment 2024 will be given a salary as given below-

Principle Scientific Officer and Superintendent of Police-

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 13.

Assistant Director, Senior Scientific Officer and Vice-Prinicipal-

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 11.

Stenographer–

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 6.

Staff Car Driver- 

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 02.

UDC-

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 04.

Dy. SP-

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 09.

Drill Instructor-

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 08.

Inspector and Training Assistant-

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 07.

Junior Investigation and Junior Accountant-

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 05.

Qualification for BPRD Recruitment 2024:

Candidates must have the given below Qualification for BPRD Recruitment 2024.

For Superintendent of Police-

Officers of Central Police Organisations or State Police Organizations.

• Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
• With 05 years’ service rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Level-12 (Rs. 78800-209200/-) in the pay matrix in the parent cadre or Department; or With 10 years’ service rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in level-11(Rs. 67700-208700/-) in the pay matrix in the parent cadre or department; or With 15 years of combined service in the grade on regular basis in posts in level-12(Rs. 78800-209200/-) in the pay matrix and level-11(Rs. 67700-208700/-) in the pay matrix in the parent cadre or department, out of which 03 years of service shall be in level 12 (Rs. 78800-209200/-) in the pay matrix.

Qualification–

• Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University;
• Candidates must have 02 years’ experience in communication or common integrated police application or police network or crime or criminal tracking network system or computer and cyber application or counter insurgency problems in naxal affected areas or investigation of crime or training of police or Central Armed Police Forces or interaction with community or media.

For Principle Scientific Officer (Weapons)

Deputation (including short term contract):

Officers under the Central or State Government or Union Territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or autonomous organizations under Central Government or public sector undertakings:-

• Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
• With five years regular service in the pay level 12 (Rs. 78800-209200/-) in the parent cadre or Department; or With ten years regular service in the pay level 11 (Rs. 67700-208700/-) or
  equivalent in the parent cadre or department.

Qualification–

• Candidates must have Masters degree in Science with Physics or Applied Physics as a subject from a recognized University with ten years experience in research development or in application or Science Technology to police work in weaponry in Central or State Government; or Govt. Research and Development Organisations or autonomous bodies; Or Bachelors Degree in Science with Physics or Applied Physics as a subject from
  a recognized University with twelve years experience in research development or in application or Science Technology to police work in weaponry in Central or State Government or Govt. Research and Development Organisations or autonomous bodies.

For Assistant Director-

• Officers under the Indian Police Service or State Police Services or Central Police Organisations or State Police Organisations holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department and possessing a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university

For Senior Scientific Officer Grade I (Weapons Branch)

Officers of the Central or State Government or Union Territories or Universities or recognized Research Institute or Autonomous Organizations under Central or State Government or Public sector Undertakings:-

• Holding analogous post in the parent cadre or Department after appointment thereto on regular basis; or
• With five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the pay level 10 in the pay matrix or equivalent in parent cadre or Department

Qualification-

• Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Applied Physics) plus four years experience in the field of ballistics including tear smoke munitions and research and development therein; or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Applied Physics) plus two years experience in the field of ballistics including tear smoke munitions and research and development therein; or  Master’s degree in science (physics) plus three years experience in the field of ballistic including tear smoke munitions and research and development therein.

For Instructor/Faculty (Training)-

Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union territory police organizations:

• Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
• With two years’ regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the post in level-9 (Rs. 53100-167800/-) or level-8 in the pay matrix (Rs. 47600-151100/-).

Qualification-

• Candidates must have Bachelors Degree from a recognised university;
• Candidates must have three years experience in the Central Government or State Government or Union territory police training institute.

For Computer Operator-

Officers under the Central or State Government or Union territories.

• Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
• With 6 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay level-5 (Rs. 29200-92300/-) or equivalent in parent cadre or department.

Qualification-

• Candidates must have Bachelors degree in Computer Application or Information Technology or
  Computer Science from recognized university;
• Candidates must have Two years’ experience in EDP or Networking

For Staff Car Driver-

• By deputation or transfer of persons holding similar or analogous posts under the Central or State Government.

Qualification-

• Candidates must have have a valid driving license for heavy duty vehicles or light duty vehicles, with 5 years’ experience.
• Candidates must have knowledge of motor mechanics.

For Dy. SP (Trg.)/ Instructor-

Officers under the Central or State Government or Union Territories:

• Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre; or
• With two years regular service in the posts in pay level-8 (Rs. 47600-151100) of the Pay matrix.

Qualification–

• Candidates must have Bachelors degree from a recognised university/ institute, and
• Candidates must have 03 years experience in the field of training in investigation/ law/ forensic
  examination/ prosecution/ information technology
