ONGC Recruitment 2022: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. is recruiting for the post of Deputy General Manager (Logistics) in Aviation Safety at the pay level of E5. The start date of submitting an application is 30th September 2022 and the last date of submitting the application is 30th October 2022.

The Scale of Pay: Rs.100000 to Rs.260000.

Age Limit: Minimum 45 years and Maximum 50 years (As on the last date of application submission) (ONGC departmental candidates will be allowed relaxation in age as per existing rules).

Qualification and Experience for ONGC Recruitment 2022

Qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) having basic AME License, preferably Helicopter, endorsed to cover:

(a) Heavy Airframe and Jet engines OR

(b) Electrical Systems, Instrument systems, Radio and Navigation systems, with at least 10 years of experience at the senior level.

Experience: Preference will be given to candidates having additional flying experience.

Broad Roles and Responsibilities of the Post for ONGC Recruitment 2022

a. Overseeing functions of Maintenance & Safety aspects of chartered helicopters.

b. Analyzing of incidences for corrective measures.

c. DGCA clearances of helidecks at offshore.

d. Planning & execution of Technical & Safety Audit of Operators and their chartered helicopters and also subsequent compliance audits.

e. Liasioning with helicopter operators for early compliance of Audit observations for enhanced Safety.

f. Preparation of ATRs on various Aviation Safety issues/ matters raised by Collectives to DGCA and ONGC authorities

Selection Process for ONGC Recruitment 2022

Education, experience, and performance in the personal interview will all be taken into consideration during the selection process. The hiring authority will determine the number of applicants to consider for the position and may adjust the qualification and/or experience requirements as necessary if there are additional applicants who meet the requirements.

The selection criteria will be as follows:

Final Selection: Only such candidates will be considered for empanelment in the merit list who meets the prescribed Qualification and Experience criteria and secure a minimum 60% of marks in the interview.

Finalization of Merit List

a. The candidates will receive offers of employment based on where they fall on a merit list created using their combined marks from the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and interview.

b. The candidate who performed better in the interview is ranked higher on the merit list if there is a tie in the total marks earned by the two candidates.

c. If two candidates receive equal overall and interview scores, the candidate with the older age is given preference in the merit list.

d. When it comes to selection, departmental candidates will be given preference; all other considerations, such as qualification, eligibility, and selection criteria, etc., remain the same.

e. Selection of candidates will be contingent on their passing the company’s medical examination in accordance with the requirements outlined in the ONGC Medical Examination of Employees Rules, 1996. The rules are described in detail on the ONGC website at www.ongcindia.com.

a. Candidates who wish to register must go to www.ongcindia.com and click on the Registration online page. The registration website will be available starting on September 30, 2022. To register, the candidate needs a Gmail ID.

b. Candidates will be informed of the manner of the interview, including the date, time, and location, as well as whether they should appear in person or online. The candidate should be able to connect through Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, WhatsApp, Webex, etc. as needed if it is chosen to do the interview online.
