Post Name and Vacancies for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Ayurvedic Medical Officers and Lecturers in different disciplines. There are 145 vacancies whereas in the Ayurvedic Medical Officer post, there are 116 Vacancies, and for the Lecturer post, there are only 29 vacancies.

Age Limit for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of OPSC Recruitment 2023, Candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post should have crossed the age of 21 years and the maximum age limit for the Ayurvedic Medical Officers post is 38 years and for Lecturer post the maximum age limit is 40 years.

Qualification for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of Recruitment 2023, Candidates applying for the OPSC Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

Ayurvedic Medical Officers

A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) or an equivalent Degree from a University or Institution recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine. He must have registered himself/ herself under the Odisha State Council of Ayurvedic Medicines.

Lecturers

• A Graduate Degree in Ayurveda from a University established by law or a Statutory Board I Faculty / Examining Body of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognized made in the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
• A Post graduate qualification in the subject/specialty concerned included in the schedule of Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 is also mandatory.
• Adequate knowledge of Sanskrit.

Salary for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of OPSC Recruitment 2023, Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs.44900 for both posts.

Selection Procedure for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of OPSC Recruitment 2023, the selection of candidates will be based on a Written test.

The WrittEm Examination will be held at Cuttack/ Bhubaneswar. Request for change of Examination Centre shall not be entertained.
