As per the Parliament of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 10. Candidates will be selected through Oration Test/Written Test/Simultaneous Interpretation Test/Personal Interview. Candidates applying for English/Hindi Interpreters should have a Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject at the Degree Level or Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory/elective subject at the Degree Level or Master’s Degree in any other discipline with English and Hindi as compulsory/elective subjects at the Degree Level. Candidates having Experience in translation or interpretation work and a Certificate in computer course recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)/National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) or courses equivalent to ‘O’ Level in terms of syllabus and duration of the course as prescribed by NIELIT will be given preference.
Candidates applying for Regional Language Interpreters should have a Master’s Degree in English or any other discipline (with English as a compulsory/elective subject at the Degree Level) with the regional language(s) concerned as recognized in the Constitution of India as a compulsory/elective subject at the Degree Level. Candidates having Experience in translation or interpretation work and a Certificate in computer course recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)/ National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) or courses equivalent to ‘O’ Level in terms of syllabus and duration of the course as prescribed by NIELIT will be given preference.
As per the Parliament of India Recruitment 2023 official notification, the maximum age limit for applying for this job post is 35 years.
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 10 (Rs. 56100-177500).
