BSF Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Home Affairs Directorate General Border Security Force (Personnel Directorate: Recruitment Section) has invited online applications for eligible and interested Indian citizens, both male and female, for the Group-‘A’ (Gazetted- Non-Ministerial (Combatised) posts in the Border Security Force, Air wing, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. As per BSF Recruitment 2023 official notification, the applications will be accepted online mode only for the year 2023 vacancies. The candidates must possess the necessary educational qualifications and meet the age criteria as of the closing date of receipt of the online application. As per BSF Recruitment 2023 official notification, the age limit for the post of Assistant Commandant (Logistics) is not exceeding 35 years as of the closing date of receipt of the online application. The crucial date for determining the age limit in each case shall be the closing date on receipt of the online application. However, there are certain age relaxations permissible beyond the upper age limit for different categories of eligible candidates for the posts.
For candidates belonging to the OBC category, a relaxation of up to 3 years beyond the upper age limit is permissible. Government officers belonging to the OBC category who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as of the closing date can also avail of relaxation of up to 5-3=2 years beyond the upper age limit. Children and dependent family members of those killed in the communal riots of the year 1984 and Gujarat riots of the year 2002 who belong to the OBC category can avail of relaxation of up to 5-3=2 years beyond the upper age limit.
As per BSF Recruitment 2023 official notification, the educational qualification required is a degree in Engineering from a recognized university or being an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers. Alternatively, candidates can have an MBA in Material Management from a recognized university or institution. Another option is to have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute along with a one-year post-graduate diploma in store management or material management from a recognized university or institute.

As per BSF Recruitment 2023 official notification, to apply for the Assistant Commandant (Logistics) post, candidates must submit their application online mode only. No other mode of application submission will be accepted.
Candidates can follow the procedure for submission of online application as mentioned in Annexure-‘A’ attached with the advertisement.
The application fee for the examination is Rs. 400 plus Rs. 47.20 service charges levied by the Common Service Centre (CSC). The fee can be paid through net banking of any bank, credit/debit card of any bank, or the nearest authorized Common Service Centre. Female candidates of all categories, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes, and BSF serving personnel are exempted from paying the examination fee.
Candidates must note that qualifying in the test will not confer any right to appointment unless the Recruitment Board is satisfied after the medical examination and necessary inquiry that the candidate is suitable for the appointment. The decision of the Recruitment Board shall be final. The examination fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. If the examination fee is not received from non-exempted category candidates, their application forms will not be accepted.
