Passport Office Recruitment 2023: Passport Office is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates to fill up 09 Vacancies for the post of Passport Officer and Deputy Passport Officer on a deputation basis. As per the Passport Office Recruitment 2023 official notification. Selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 03 years. Candidates over the age of 56 are ineligible to apply for this position.
As per the Passport Office Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will get a monthly salary of up to Rs. 209200. For Passport Officer
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 12 (Rs. 78800-209200).
For Deputy Passport Officer
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 11 (Rs. 67700-208700).
Mention below is the eligibility criteria for Passport Office Recruitment 2023:
For Passport Officer:
Candidates must have had analogous roles on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department, or have five years of regular service in the grade rendered following an appointment in posts at Level-11 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute, as well as nine years of experience in Passport, Consular, or Emigration Administration, Finance Accounts, Vigilance, or Public Grievances.
For Deputy Passport Officer:
Candidates must have held analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department, or five years of service in Level- 10 of the pay matrix rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department, and Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute, and five years experience in Passport, Consular, Emigration Administration, Finance Accounts, Vigilance work, or Public Grievances.
