ECGC Recruitment 2023: Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd (ECGC) Limited is a government enterprise in India that has announced a recruitment drive to hire Probationary Officers for the cadre of Executive Officers. The CTC (Cost to Company) of the Executive Officer (Probationary Officer) posted in Mumbai is approximately INR 16 lakh per annum. The recruitment process will consist of an online examination followed by an interview of the shortlisted candidates. The online examination will be conducted in six centers across India, and the tentative schedule for the entire recruitment process has been provided in the advertisement. As per ECGC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility criteria for the recruitment process for a company are as follows:
Nationality/Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian citizens or subjects of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962. A certificate of eligibility is required for candidates who belong to categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v).
Age: Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years old as of April 1, 2023. There is a relaxation in the upper age limit for certain categories such as SC/ST, OBC, and ex-servicemen.
Minimum Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a specific educational qualification for each discipline such as Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA), Bachelor of Law (LLB) from a recognized Indian University/Institution, etc.

As per ECGC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the recruitment process for ECGC will involve an online examination consisting of both objective and descriptive tests followed by a Personal Interview. The objective test will have multiple-choice questions and will consist of five sections: Reasoning Ability, English Language, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and Professional Knowledge. The total number of questions will be 200, and the maximum marks will also be 200. The duration of the objective test will be 140 minutes.
In addition to the objective test, there will also be a descriptive test of the English Language. This will consist of one essay writing question and one precis writing question. The total marks for the descriptive test will be 40, and the time allotted for it will be 40 minutes. It is important to note that the marks of the descriptive paper will only be evaluated for candidates who qualify in the objective test and have a high score as per the total marks in the objective test.
The qualifying cut-off marks for each section of the objective test and the descriptive paper will be decided by ECGC. The descriptive test will be evaluated to the extent of 25 times the number of vacancies or more as decided by the Company. The marks of the descriptive paper will also be counted for final selection. Candidates should regularly check the ECGC website for any updates or changes to the examination structure.
As per ECGC Recruitment 2023 official notification, to apply for the position advertised by ECGC, candidates must apply online between May 2, 2023 and May 31, 2023. Candidates are required to scan and upload their photograph, signature, left thumb impression (or finger/toe impression if missing) and a handwritten declaration stating that the information they have provided is true and valid.
Candidates must ensure that all scanned documents adhere to the required specifications as given in Annexure I to the advertisement. Candidates must use their own handwriting to write the declaration and it must be in English only, written in small letters (not in capital letters) and must be legible. Candidates must also have a valid personal email ID, which should be kept active until the declaration of results. Application fees, which include intimation charges, must be paid online between May 2, 2023 and May 31, 2023.
The application fee for SC/ST/PWBD candidates is Rs. 175 and for all other candidates, it is Rs. 850, inclusive of intimation charges. Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application themselves and use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required.
