Overview:

PayPal is hiring an experienced Financial Analyst at their Bangalore location. As a member of PayPal’s Marketing FP&A team, this position will play a key role in providing financial analysis in support of the Marketing organization. This role will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, month end close, variance analysis, reporting related to marketing program spend, and supporting the business with various Finance related projects. This role will work closely with the Venmo Marketing team as part of ongoing spend management and reconciliation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Partner with the business as well as other Finance team members for forecasting, month end close activities, variance analysis, and budgeting.
• Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Sourcing, Analytics, and other business partners as necessary, to ensure alignment and expense accuracy.
• Own the quarterly forecast, monthly reporting, and P&L reconciliation with a high levelof accuracy.
• Build trusted relationships with key business partners, establishing trust, and gaining an understanding of relevant business drivers.
• Develop, monitor, and drive deeper understanding of our KPIs across the Marketing organization and identifyopportunities to improve existing reporting processes and key metrics tracking.
• Process cost center creation and changes, along with movement of cost center hierarchies.
• Assistwith ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests.
• Identifytrends and anticipate reportiang needs of the business.
• Proactively identifysystem and process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

What do you need to bring-

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Consulting at a highly matrixed company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or other related fields.
• MBA or CA preferred, but not required.
• Strong understanding of forecasting, budget, and basic accounting concepts.
• A self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated, curious, detail oriented, and self-aware.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP preferred, but not required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills combined with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.
• Ability to develop and maintaincomplex financial models.
