PMC Bank depositors demonstrate outside the RBI at the Bandra-Kurla Complex
Depositors of the Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative (PMC) Bank—the bank went bankrupt in late 2019—held a protest outside the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Fort, early Friday afternoon.
This protest came after customers of the bank staged a protest outside the RBI at the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) on November 26. At the time, the mood was desperate, and several protestors were sobbing. There was a steely resolve this time: “We want justice,” they yelled.
