PowerGrid Recruitment 2022: POWERGRID, a ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India is engaged in the power transmission business with the mandate for planning, coordination, supervision, and control over complete Inter-State Transmission System and operation of national and regional power grids. Applications have been invited for the Field Engineer & Field Supervisor in Various departments of PowerGrid Corporation of India Limited.  There are 800 Vacancies for this job.

The age of the candidate shall be below 29 years as on 11.12.2022. (Candidates should not have been born before 11.12.1993 or after 11.12.2004). Age Limit for PowerGrid Recruitment 2022:

Pay Scale for PowerGrid Recruitment 2022

For Field Engineers (Electrical/E&T/IT):
Contract personnel will be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs 30,000 – 3%- 1,20,000 with initial basic pay of Rs 30,000 + Industrial DA + HRA + perks.

For Field Supervisor (Electrical/E&C):
Contract personnel will be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs. 23,000 – 3% – 1,05,000 with initial basic pay of Rs. 23,000 + Industrial DA + HRA.

Period of Engagement for PowerGrid Recruitment 2022:

The engagement of personnel is purely temporary in nature and on a contract basis for a period of 24 months or till completion of the projects, whichever is earlier. The actual engagement may vary depending on the requirements and status of projects

Qualification for PowerGrid Recruitment 2022

1. Field Engineer (Electrical) – Full-time B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical discipline or equivalent discipline from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

2. Field Engineer (Electronics and Communication) – Full-time B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Electronics and Communication discipline or equivalent discipline from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/ OBC(NCL)/EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

3. Field Engineer (IT) – Full-time B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Information Technology discipline or equivalent discipline from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

4. Field Supervisor (Electrical) – Full-Time Diploma in Electrical or equivalent discipline from a recognized Technical Board / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General / OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD. Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech. / BE / M.Tech. /ME etc. with or without a Diploma is not allowed.

5. Field Supervisor (Electronics and Communication) – Full-Time Diploma in Electronics and Communication or equivalent discipline from a recognized Technical Board / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General / OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD. Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech. / BE / M.Tech. /ME etc. with or without a Diploma is not allowed.

Selection Process for PowerGrid Recruitment 2022:

The selection process will comprise a Test, followed by a Group Discussion, Behavioural Assessment and Personal Interview of the candidates who qualify for the Test and are shortlisted for GD and Interview.
