Overview:

Volvo is hiring an experienced Purchasing Associate at their Bangalore location. The Purchasing Analyst position within Purchasing Support Centre will be responsible for handling standard scope activities delegated by buyers from All GTP, VBC, Penta Sites globally.

Purchasing Analyst is also responsible for complete autonomous handling & maintenance of buyer handler logs depending on delegation and for related work transition, problem solving, Cross Functional Connect and to maintain timelines for handling various requisitions in the log. Also, responsible for logging, reporting of work and handling one time assignments / projects assigned within the team. This position will report to the Group Manager – Purchasing Support Centre.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

Autonomous maintenance of Handler Logs and other Portfolio Activities / Order Management / Priority Aftermarket Requisitions handling

RFQ Management including Launching, follow ups for quotes and answering supplier queries in collaboration with buyers and PD and XF teams

Compiling & analyzing quotes from suppliers, preparing Preliminary quotes summary / analysis as well as cost breakdown for various suppliers and parts

Solving portfolio related issues with suppliers / cross functional teams

Supplier Integration Support on buyer request – Support in establishing  EDI Connections, Supplier Portal Access, Creation/Addition/Deletion of Parma Code / Supplier base administration, Supplier Base Follow Up – Certificates,KEP5,KEP6 and SSEM

Taxonomy and Segmentation Support to buyers and management, segment owners,

Portfolio Analysis and Cleaning

Co-ordinating on Agreements approval flow

Supplier Price Discrepancy Management / Issues Handling

Maintenance of Various Department Dashboards and Reports.
