• The candidates should have a full-time regular four-year graduation in engineering, technology, or full-time regular. Three Years Diplomas in Engineering / Technology/(from a College approved by AICTE) with an aggregate 60% marks in stream/ branch of Electronics and Telecommunication: or Telecommunication; or Computer Science and Engineering or Civil Engineering or Information Technology or Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or any other combination of Engineering branches where Electronics is one of the main branches, like Electronics and Instrumentation OR passed Sections A and B of Institution Examinations of the Institute of Engineering (India) in above-mentioned relevant branches of engineering OR Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers (India) in above mentioned relevant branches of engineering. No engineering graduate or diploma holder who has undergone or possesses training or job or work experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of any of these qualifications mentioned in Paragraph 1 shall be eligible to be engaged as an apprentice under the Act.
• Candidates who have completed three years post-graduation or diploma will not be considered for an apprenticeship.
• Candidates who have already completed their apprenticeship, terminated their apprenticeship midway, or pursuing their apprenticeship with other organizations are not eligible.

Salary for Railtel Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of Railtel Recruitment 2023, the salary for a chosen candidate is mentioned below:

• For Graduate Engineers: The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 14000.
• For diploma engineers: The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 12,000.
